      BELGUO respects your privacy and gives you the ability to request deletion of personal data associated with your use of BELGUO Social AI and its integrations with Facebook and Instagram.

      BELGUO Social AI may process limited Meta account information when you choose to connect a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to our service.

      What data may be processed

      Depending on the permissions you grant, BELGUO Social AI may process information such as:

      • Facebook Page ID and Page name

      • Instagram professional account ID and username

      • Meta account identifiers required for authentication

      • Access permissions granted to BELGUO Social AI

      • Encrypted access tokens required to publish authorized content

      • Social media publishing status and post identifiers

      • Connection and authorization status

      • Technical information required to maintain the integration

      BELGUO does not require or store your Facebook or Instagram password.

      Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram

      You can disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account directly from the BELGUO Social AI plugin.

      Go to:

      WordPress Dashboard → BELGUO Social AI → Social Accounts

      Select the connected account and click:

      Disconnect Facebook

      or

      Disconnect Instagram

      When an account is disconnected, BELGUO Social AI will stop using that connection for future publishing.

      Request deletion of your Meta data

      You may request deletion of data associated with your Facebook or Instagram connection at any time.

      Send your request to:

      Use the subject:

      Meta Data Deletion Request

      Please include:

      • Your name

      • Your website/domain

      • The Facebook Page or Instagram account concerned

      • The email address associated with your BELGUO account, if applicable

      Please do not send us your Facebook or Instagram password.

      After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize the Meta-related data associated with your BELGUO Social AI connection, unless certain information must be retained to comply with legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or regulatory obligations.

      Data that may be deleted

      A deletion request may include removal of:

      • Facebook Page connection information

      • Instagram account connection information

      • Stored Meta account identifiers

      • Stored authorization information

      • Encrypted Meta access tokens

      • Granted permission records

      • Social account connection records

      • Other Meta-related personal information associated with the integration

      Where technically possible, active authorization credentials will also be revoked or invalidated.

      Facebook and Instagram data

      BELGUO only accesses Meta data after you explicitly authorize BELGUO Social AI through the applicable Facebook or Instagram authorization process.

      Your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts remain owned and controlled by you.

      Deleting data from BELGUO does not automatically delete your Facebook Page, Instagram account, posts already published to Meta platforms, or information maintained independently by Meta.

      To manage or delete information directly from Facebook or Instagram, you should use the privacy and account controls provided by Meta.

      Processing time

      We aim to process valid deletion requests as quickly as reasonably possible.

      Additional verification may be required to ensure that the person requesting deletion is authorized to request deletion for the relevant website or social media account.
